Biography

Born on the 28th of September 1988, in Medjugorje, SR Bosnia and Herzegovina, SFR Yugoslavia, Chila began playing tennis at the age of seven with his cousin Tanja. Countrymen Goran Ivanisevic and Ivan Ljubicic were this young man’s childhood heroes. In the spring of 2004, he began competing on the junior ITF circuit. Chila was playing on the ATP Tour a year later. 2007 saw him win the Casablanca Challenger and the Rijeka Challenger. In 2008, the man from Medjugorje played in his first Grand Slam, the Australian Open. This right-handed player, who stands at 6’6″, has achieved a lot of things in the years he has been playing the sport. With 20 career titles, he has won the US Open (2014) and has reached the finals of Wimbledon (2017) and the Australian Open (2018). His overall win percentage as a singles player stands at well over 60%, and it has to be noted that being successful on the court has brought him a lot of accolades off it too.

Marin Cilic Wife

He’s a made man. In regular people’s lingo, that means that his gentleman is married. He wedded his long time girlfriend, Kristina Milkovic, in 2018. He first laid eyes on Kristina when he met her at a Davis Cup tournament in 2008. She was the one who was hosting it. Our player didn’t ask her out until 2010. Although we don’t know what took him so long, we’re glad he did. In July 2017, he popped the question, and she said yes. The couple married in April 2018.

This player loves spending time with his wife. We even heard that he reads her bedtime stories. – via Instagram

Family: Parents, Siblings & Children

A doting father, this young man looks adorable in those shorts he has matching with his son, doesn’t he?

His dad Zdenko was a sports enthusiast. He wanted to succeed, but couldn’t, unfortunately. That’s why he made sure that his kids did. Whilst we’re not sure what he does for a living, we do know that he’s a loving father. Little is known about his mum Koviljka, though. Chila has two older brothers named Vinko and Goran. He also has a younger brother named Mile. Chila is a father to a lad named Baldo.
