Bio
La Abeja was born on 13 August 1999, to Spanish parents in the municipality of Matadepera, Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain. He started out his youth career at Jabac Terrassa in 2008, a given since his father, Carlos, also a professional footballer applied his trade at left-back for FC Terrassa during his playing days. In 2013 the young man joined up with FC Barcelona’s fabled youth academy, La Masia. 5 years later, on 24 February, 2018 he made his senior debut for the club’s reserves; the teenage midfield dynamo came on in the second half of a Segunda División fixture which pitted Barcelona reserves against Gimnàstic de Tarragona, a game which concluded in a 1-1 draw. He made his debut for Blaugrana’s first team on 5 December, 2018, coming on as a substitute as Barca dispatched of Cultural Leonesa 4-1 in a Copa del Rey fixture; the youngster would register his first assist for the club, as he turned provider for the final goal of the match scored by Denis Suarez. On 13 April 2019, the energetic midfielder made his La Liga debut for FC Barcelona in a 0-0 draw against SD Huesca. The end of the season 2018-19 season saw FC Barcelona crowned as La Liga champions, despite making only 2 appearances La Abeja collected his first senior championship.
