This price tag brought a lot of pressure to Luke, but after a short period of getting used to his new club and new surroundings he definitely proved his qualities. His market value is currently slightly less: 20 Million Euro (17.5 Million Pound). Due to an amazing contract in Manchester and a couple of great years at Southampton his net worth is currently estimated at 17.5 Million Euro (15 Million Pound).

Born in Kingston upon Thames, an area in the south west of London, but currently playing for Manchester United. His parents are fanatic Chelsea supporters, and it is commonly known that Luke was a big fan of The Blues as well. He always wanted to play for the London club. When he was only eight years old he played several games at Chelsea's so-called 'development centre' in Guildford but he never got an invitation to join the youth academy. Instead he started his career at Southampton. He joined the club at the age of eight (2003) and stayed un till 2014. He made his debut in the first team in September 2011 in the League Cup against Preston North End. It was reported that many big Premier League clubs (among other Arsenal, his beloved Chelsea and Manchester City) wanted to buy him during the January 2012 transfer window, but.. he decided to stay. In the following two years he played 60 games for The Saints. But when Manchester United came in the summer of 2014 for a staggering 30 Million Pound fee and an amazing salary, he couldn't resist. He signed a four-year contract and became the most expensive teenager in world football. He played a fantastic first season and was even nominated for the 'Golden Boy Award' but then got severely injured in 2015 during the opening match of the Champions League against PSV. It took him a while to recover but nowadays he is back on track and part of the first eleven of 'The Red Devils'. The fans at Old Trafford love him and we all know that this lad has a bright future ahead of him!
