Dear WTFoot fans, welcome to this beautiful and interesting profile of South Korea’s superstar Ki Sung-yueng. At this profile you will learn more about his salary, net worth, love life, inks and cars. But first we start with some information about his footballing career. In 2001, at the age of twelve, he left South Korea and went to Brisbane in Australia. He was about to study at John Paul College under the so-called Brain Soccer Program. In Australia he wanted to improve his football skills and learn English. He played in the youth team of the school and was one of the reasons that they won the 2004 Bill Turner Cup, a big inter-school U15 competition in Australia. In 2005 he moved back to South Korea and joined South Korea’s A-League Club FC Seoul. He made his debut as a professional football player in 2008 against the biggest rival Suwon Samsung Bluewings. Soon he became an important player in the first team, for whom he played 64 games in 3 years. In the summer of 2009 it was announced that he would make the step to Europa and to join Celtic. With his vision, technique, long passing and shooting he became soon one of the fan’s favorites. In 2012 he joined the biggest football league of the world, the BPL, when he signed a three-year contract in a 6 Million Pound deal with Swansea City. For the South Korean player it was a dream coming true. At Swansea he became a legend, he played over 140 games for the Swans when he made another step in his footballing career. In June 2018 he signed a two-year deal with Newcastle United. The fans? They love him.
