Player Bio

Bissau, Guinea-Bissau, the son of former Portuguese footballer Samuel Quina, he began his youth career at Portuguese super-club Benfica before moving to England to join up with Chelsea's youth system. He signed for West Ham United in May 2016 with the expectation of joining the squad in July 2016 and sign a professional contract on his seventeenth birthday in November 2016. He made his West Ham United debut on 28 July 2016 in a Europa League fixture, coming on as a second half substitute against NK Domzale, and also played a part in the second leg as The Hammers ran out 3-0 winners in the club's first ever match at London Stadium. On 9 August 2018, the Portuguese kid signed a four-year contract for fellow Premier League club Watford for a fee of £1 million. He made is debut on 29 August in a second round EFL Cup game away to Reading, scoring his first goal, a 30 yard screamer, as The Hornets ran out 2-0 winners. His Premier League debut came in a 2-1 defeat to Manchester City on 4 December 2018; which was followed by his first league start, a 2-2 draw against Everton on 10 December. On 15 December, his goal against Cardiff made him the youngest player ever to score a Premier League goal for Watford. On the international stage he won the UEFA European Under-17 Championship with Portugal in May 2016, and the UEFA Under-19 Championship in July 2018. He made the team of the tournament on both occasions.
