In December 2015 Anita went for holidays to Croatia, where she “accidently bumped into” old friend Dario Torbic – and affaire followed and pictures were leaked to the press. Usually footballers cheat on their WAGs, but this time it was the other way around. Dejan found out about the affair by pictures in the media and felt enormously hurt. But he decided to commit to saving the marriage. Most important reason for this is the fact that Anita is the mother of his two children.

Player Bio

Dejan Lovren is a Croatian defender who plays as a centre back for Liverpool and the Croatian national team. When he was three year old he and his family fled to Munich, to escape the Bosnian War. The next eight years he spend in Germany. That's where he started playing football as well, at a little club called BSC Sendling. He and his family then moved back to Karlovac in Croatia, only 50 miles away of Zagreb. He seemed to be a talented footballer and joined the local professional club's youth academy of Dinamo Zagreb. After four years in Zagreb, of which two seasons on loan at Inter Zapresic, he moved to Olympique Lyon for a fee of 8 Million Euro. He stayed three-and-a-half seasons in Lyon and won the Coupe de France in 2012. He played some great matches and showed his amazing potential. It was clear that he was ready for the next step. And so he did! In the winter of 2013 he signed in England at Southampton. He once stated in an interview that it always always has been his dream to play in the Premier League. After only one (!) succesfull season at the Saints Liverpool knew enough and signed him for 20 Million Pound.
