House - Where does he live?
Location: Monaco, France
Back in Monaco he was living in a small apartment. This picture is a still taken from an interview which took place in his small but cosy French apartment. We guess that nowadays he lives a lil' bigger!
Bernardo Mota Veiga de Carvalho e Silva was born in Lisbon on the 10th of August 1994. As a kid he was barely at home: little Bernardo was always outside, playing football. And the boy was talented. Very talented. When he was twelve years old he joined the biggest tema of Lisbon: the youth academy of Benfica. At the start of season 2013-2014 he made his debut for the reserve side of Benfica called SL Benfica B. And you now what? Only a couple of weeks later he was promoted to the first team of Benfica, and played a game for the Portugese cup against Cinfaes. We have to give a big up to the scouts of AS Monaco, because they saw his talents fast. Very fast! When the Portguese midfielder made the move to France he only played a couple of games for the first team of Benfica, mostly friendly games. AS Monaco first took him on loan and bought him a year later for 16 Million Euro (14 Million Pound). And oh boy, that was a good catch. Silva played better and better and gave AS Monaco (together with some other very talented players) the first national title in seventeen years. In the same season they reached the semi-finals of the UEFA Champions League. One guy in Manchester, called Pep Guardiola, was very charmed by the Portugese midfielder. He convinced the board of Manchester City, and the Citizens bought him for 49 Million Euro (43 Million Pound). In his first season in England he won the Premier League and the EFL Cup. Whats next?
