With the speed and craft to take on any defender in a one v one situation, this Portuguese winger/midfielder is a quality addition to the Wolves squad. He joins a strong contingent of Portuguese nationals in the Premier League team. Born in Oeiras, which is a part of Lisbon, he began his career with CF Belenenses in 2003. He joined the academy of Sporting CP in 2005. For those of you that don't know, it was the same team that honed Cristiano Ronaldo's craft as a young boy. Our winger got his senior debut for the Lisbon based club's B team in 2013. He got to play for their first team in a little over a year. He'd also spend some time with Moreirense on loan. His exit from Sporting Lisbon's squad was after an ugly incident that involved the club's supporters attack their players. He moved to Olympiacos following that. He was never a goalscorer before, but his time in Greece would changed that. He became more involved in the goals, and that changed his reputation too. This is one of the reasons why Wolves signed him earlier this year. He might be short in stature, but this former Portuguese youth teamer brings in a lot of flair to the game. His acceleration and speed come in handy when he tries to beat defenders. This agile player is waiting to be called up to his country's senior squad.
