He started his career at his hometown club Leeds United for whom he played his first professional game in 2003. With 16 years old he became the youngest player ever to play in the Premier League (at that time). After a couple of successful years he moved to Tottenham Hotspur for 1 Million Pound. At Tottenham he became a true legend. He played over 350 games for Spurs and scored 30 goals. During the season 2008-09 he won his first major honour - the Football League Cup. Spurs won with 2-1 over their London rivals Chelsea. In September 2015 it was announced that he would join Everton for a 4.5 Million Pound fee. He made his debut for the Toffees in the Merseyside derby against Liverpool on 7 February 2015. He played an amazing first season but things got worse when Ronald Koeman took charge of the club. The Dutch coach did not believe in him and after half a season Lennon signed a contract at Burnley for an undisclosed fee. He also represented many of England's national youth teams and played 21 games for the 'senior' Three Lions. With his fast rushes and speed dribbling he is a kind of player a manager can always use : this lad is a real weapon!
