The Californian native went into High School on the back of a personal tragedy at home. He attended Liberty High in Bakersfield, California, and was told that he was not cut out to be a quarterback. He didn't let that get to him, and by senior year he was his school's starting QB. Utah State came next where his performances were on par with the greats, at least to begin with. He was drafted by the Packers in the 2020 Draft in Round 1 and 26th overall.
His short game is very good, but the boy does lack some vision, and his decision making is questionable at times. His time with the Green Bay Packers will set the tone for his career. We can't wait to see how this is going to play out.
