A power forward whose work ethic is extraordinary, this young man was selected by the Atlanta Hawks in round 1 and as the 6th overall pick of the 2020 NBA Draft. Born in Los Angeles, Big O frequented the Chino Hills High School in Chino Hills, California. He didn't go far for college either. The 2 times California Mr. Basketball winner attended the University of Southern California between 2019-20. Averaging 8.6 RPG, 1.1 APG, 1.2 SPG, 2.7 BPG, and 16.2 PPG, he made it to the First Team All-Pac-12 in 2020. As someone who can also play center, he is a Chase Down Monster, and his capacity to defend post moves is exemplary. He's a big guy for a teenager and poses a massive threat to his opponents on and off the ball. A durable player, he is an excellent defender and rebounder but has to work on his scoring and playmaking to become a complete basketballer. All in all, he has potential and could develop into a top player for the Hawks.
