He is a professional basketball player for the Minnesota Timberwolves in the NBA. His father and mother did their best to help him out with his basketball career since he started in high school. His father also played basketball for Monmouth University and coached basketball as well. He led the basketball team to the state championship in 2012, earning the top position in the ESPN 25 national ranking of high school players. This was a clear sign that he was doing something right. He got selected at 16 to play for the Dominican Republic's national basketball team that represents that nation in international competition. Things just got better from there as better results started to appear. In college, he was one of the best offensive players, and he entered the 2015 NBA draft. On June 25, he was selected by the Minnesota Timberwolves, and he has been playing there over the last years. He was the first overall pick in the NBA draft for Minnesota. As he is still so young, we expect to see a lot more from Karl in his future career. We love the way he plays, and for sure, he is only going to get better at it!
