The blonde bombshell has formerly worked as a sports journalist and commentator before taking up duties as a lines-woman, receiving mainstream success during the 2014 Copa do Brasil.
Fernanda was appointed as an official FIFA judge during the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia.
2. Sian Massey-Ellis (England)

Born in Coventry, England, she turned professional in 2010 and since then has acted in the capacity of an assistant referee or lines-woman. 7. Stéphanie Frappart (French)
Born in the northern France Stéphanie Frappart is one of the most accomplished female referees in the world. A pioneer, she began her career in the lower divisions of French football and rose in rank to become first female official in Ligue 2.
Frappart went on to officiate the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup final in France between USA and the Netherlands.
She hit a career milestone toward the end of 2020 when she was appointed referee in the UEFA Champions League match between Juventus and Dynamo Kyiv, making her the first female to achieve the feat.
8. Bibiana Steinhaus (Germany)
The 41-year old female official from Germany played as a footballer for her hometown club of SV Bad Lauterberg before taking up officiating in 1999.
She initially began in the Frauen-Bundesliga but made the move up to men’s football a decade later, refereeing in the 2.Bundesliga, which made her the first-ever female official in professional German men’s football.
Bibiana wouldn’t stop there, she refereed the 2017 UEFA Women’s Champions League final, and in September of that year took officiated her first Bundesliga game, capping yet another history making feat.
