Player Bio

The importance of a player like him is never doubted by the sane. When quality is what you bring to the table, you're rewarded with love and affection that could be borderline fanatical at times. The case with our winger and his current club is a rather peculiar one because Los Che, who aren't doing too well in the league right now, was reportedly considering selling our man to their bitter rivals FC Barcelona, this winter transfer window. That prompted the Valencia skipper to come out in support of our man and could have gotten very ugly had they proceeded. He was born in Brazil but moved to Spain at a very young age. He did get his first taste of the game in his birth country and even attended Flamengo's academy for a while. After migrating, he was taken into Celta's academy and later admitted to the legendary Castilla of Real Madrid. He graduated and made a rational decision by joining Benfica in 2010. He also spent two of the five years, the first and last seasons of his contract to be precise, on loan with Bolton and Valencia. He decided to move back to Spain with Els Taronges and has been there since 2015. He's a playmaker who is a naturalized Spanish citizen. He plays for La Furia Roja and has also played youth level football for the country. He has won the UEFA European Under-21 Championship for his country.
