Player Bio

Nathan Collins was born in Leixlip, Ireland, on April 3rd, 2001, and currently represents Premier League club Wolverhampton Wanderers and the Irish national team. He is versatile defender well capable of playing all over the backline and also as a defensive midfielder, with centre-back being his preferred position. Collins’ youth career was split between Cherry Orchard and English club Stoke City. Nat turned pro with The Potters in 2019 and played 39 games for Stoke in the EFL Championship. At the start of the 2021/22 he was signed by Premier League club Burnley. It was a disappointing season collectively as The Clarets got relegated but the Irishman proved his metal and signed by Wolverhampton Wanderers in the summer of 2022. Nathan made his debut for Ireland on October 12, 2021, in a 4-0 win over Qatar.
