In 2018 the right back signed a contract with Brighton & Hove Albion that nets him a whopping salary of 3 Million Euro (2.5 Million Euro) per year. We have crunched the numbers, this means he earns €8,197 (£7,323) per day and €342 (£305) per hour!
Since you've been viewing this page, Martín Montoya has earned...
This means the average man needs to work for at least 7.4 years to earn the same as Montocito earns in only 1 month.
The salary of the Spanish right back compared to his Brighton & Hove Albion teammates
He has played for arguably the biggest club in the world: FC Barcelona. He was not earning massive bucks back then though, but he is more than making up for that at Brighton. His current net worth is roughly 14 Million Euro (12 Million Pound). His market value has risen a little bit, his current value sits at around 10 Million Euro (9 Million Pound).
No tattoos for the man from Catalonia. He just doesn't really need them and we don't think he will ever get any.
Family - Get to know them
Son - Iker
His son Iker is the second child of the family Montoya. He and Maite had him may of 2018 and he is doing absolutely fine.
Their other son is already a bit older (4 years now) and here you see him with his parents and his unborn brother. Very cute stuff indeed.
Montoya Car - What does he drive?
He has stated that he loves to drive his Audi Q7. This is not his exact car but be absolutely sure that it looks just like this one. A stunning ride if you ask us.
House - Where does he live?
Location: Barcelona, Spain/Catalunya
We do not have a lot of information about their home in Barcelona but we did manage to get our hands on this photo. Happy holidays people!
Hi there WTFoot fans, followers and groupies from all over the world. We would just love to welcome you to the WIKI of Montocito, the right back of Brighton and Hove Albion. He is currently playing, with Brighton, in the English Premier League. This league is considered by many to be the best in the world, so Montocito has really made it for himself. He was born in a small town called Gavá, in Spain. It is a town close to Barcelona. Actually we are not sure if we are allowed to say if it a Spanish town. Many people, including Montocito, would probably prefer if you would call it a Catalonian town. He is a proud Catalán and he not shy about it either. He started his career at the famous youth academy of Barcelona. He went on to play for the first team of Barcelona from 2010 to 2015. As a rightback he would often be a backup for Dani Alves. He actually managed to play a respectable amount of games, considering that that Barça team was probably one of the greatest squads in the history of football. As a proud Catalonian man, he has also represented the Catalan National Team. That team is not eligible to play at the FIFA World Cup or the Euro's, so instead they only play friendly games. For now sit back and enjoy the wiki of this remarkable talent.
