Bio

A warm welcome. A very warm welcome indeed to all WTFoot fans from all over our beautiful globe. The globe that we call home. We would love to welcome you to the 'wiki' of this goalkeeper from Slovakia. Actually he was born in Czechoslovakia, but that is not the point here. The point is that he is currently playing for Newcastle United in the English Premier League, the league that is considered by many to be the best in the world. He started his career at his hometown club Zilina and it wasn't long before he made the move to the Czech Gambrinus League. He played for several big teams in the Czech Republic, including Sparta Praha. It was there that Newcastle became interested in his services. They first got the goalie on loan and a few months later they actually signed the man between the sticks. He has since had a very successful first campaign in England. He helped Newcastle remain in the Premier League in his first full season at the club and he was a reliable man behind the central defenders. He also plays for the Slovakian national team, he has already played several games for the first team but he has never played at an actual finals tournaments.
