Marouane Fellaini is a Belgian footballer and was part of the so-called Belgian "Golden Generation". Many people expected the Belgian team to FINALLY win a big price, but sadly enough Marouane and his friends Eden, Kevin and Moussa never managed to live up to the high expectations. He was born to Maroccan parents in Etterbeek, a suburb of Brussels. During his youth career he played for Anderlecht, R.A.E.C. Mons, Royal Francs Borains and Charleroi SC. After these clubs he joined Standard Liège, the club for whom he made his debut in professional football. He contributed hugely to winning the Belgian First Division and won the Ebony shoe as well (a Belgian price annualy given to the best African player in the Belgian league). He then signed a contract at Everton, where he became Everton's Best Young Player of the Season. In 2008-09 he played the FA Cup final with The Toffees. After five successful years at Everton he made the transfer to Manchester United, who bought him for 27.5 Million Pound in the summer of 2013. He currently played over 150 games for Manchester United and still counting. With United he won the 2017 Europa League.
