Kevin de Bruyne is a Belgian midfielder. He currently plays for Manchester City in the English Premier League. He was born on the 28th of June in 1991 in Drongen, Belgium. He is seen as one the best midfielders of this generation, something that has especially been proven true during his partnership with star manager Pep Guardiola. He had already played in England under Jose Mourinho, at Chelsea in 2012 through 2014 when he was still a youngster. He then got sold to Wolfsburg in 2014. Kevin made the move from the German Side to Man. City in the summer of 2015, for a reported fee of 54 million British Pounds. In the beginning there was some doubt about the height of this fee, but the playmaker has proven that he has been worth it. The Belgian has been named Manchester City’s player of the year twice since he came over from Germany, in 2016 and in 2018. The midfielder is obviously a Belgian international. He has been active on 3 international tournaments thus far, the UEFA European Championship of 2016 and the FIFA World Cups of 2014 and 2018. In the latter he and his Belgian teammates wrote history, as they reached the semi-finals and ultimately won a bronze 3rd place-medal.
