Bio
This Brazilian goalkeeper was born on August 17th in 1993. He currently plays for Manchester City in the English Premier League. In the summer of 2017 the keeper made the move from Benfica to Manchester City for a whopping 40 Million Euro (35 Million Pound). At the time he was the second most expensive goalkeeper of all time, falling only a few million euro's short of Gianluigi Buffon's transfer to Juventus in 2001. In his first full season with the club the Brazilian broke all sorts of records for the team that eventually managed to comfortaby win the Premier League title. The man from Osasco, Brazil is considered to be one of the most talented goalkeepers of his generation. Besides his obvious qualities between the sticks (the ability to stop and block shots and catch high balls) he is highly regarded for his long-kicks and long-throws. He is actually able to launch attacks with his distribution skills. Not only has this man been playing in some of the biggest leagues in European football, he is also a regular member of the Seleçao, the Brazilian national team. With his fellow Brazilians he starred at the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia. The South-American nation performed rather dissapointingly however, being kicked out of the competition by Belgium in the quarterfinals.
