The salary of the Turkish centre back compared to his Leicester City teammates
The defender was the first Turkish footballer to make a transfer directly from the TFF First League (second tier of Turkish football) to the Bundesliga. After a two year spell with German side SC Freiburg he signed a 5 year deal with Premier League club Leicester City to bring his net worth to an estimated €12.5 million (£10.8 million). The Turkish defender has shown huge potential at a very young age which is reflected in his market value of €18 million (£15.5 million).
Here he is out for a hefty meal with his best bud and International teammate Cengiz Ünder. We're as surprised as you're to find these two fine looking gentleman unaccompanied by a bevy of beautiful women.

Player Bio
Born in Izmir, Turkey, the defender started his youth career in 2006 with local side Menemen Belediyespor at the age of 10. He'd come to play for two more youth academies in Bucaspor and Gümüsorduspor before signing for Turkish second division side Altınordu S.K in 2014. His performances for the TFF First League club in the next couple of years attracted suitors from all over Europe with Turkish giants Beşiktaş J.K. and Galatasaray S.K. both interested, in addition to Spanish La Liga side Sevilla but he rebuffed their advances in favour of German Bundesliga side SC Freiburg as he felt it was the best move to develop his game. He made his debut for SC Freiburg in August 2016 a week after signing for the club in a 2-1 defeat to Hertha Berlin. His debut season was a success as he made 24 appearances in the Bundesliga helping the newly promoted club not only avoid relegation but finish in a healthy 7th place position in the table. The 2017/18 season would be much tougher for SC Freiburg but once again the defender laid a solid foundation at the back for the club to build on and escape relegation by finishing 15th in the table. By now it became impossible for SC Freiburg to refuse the advances of the European super clubs, the Turkish defender was in demand for his style of play drawing comparisons to Carlos Puyol and Mats Hummels and clubs such as Manchester City and AS Roma were all after his signature. Once again the defender would show maturity beyond his years putting his professional growth before a big money move as he signed for mid tier Premier League club Leicester City in 2018 on a five year deal.
