Bio
Welcome to the Wiki of Rudy, the robust central defender from Berlin, Germany. Rudy actually started his career in his hometown of Berlin where he played football at VFB Sperber Neukölln, a small club in the south of Berlin. He later joined Tasmania Berlin and subsequently he joined Neuköllner Sportfreunde 1907. After a while it became apparent that he was a great talent and he joined the youth academy of Borussia Dortmund in 2008. After having played in Dortmund for 3 years he went to Stuttgart, the team that he eventually broke through at, as he became a professional player for VfB Stuttgart in 2012. After a couple of good years at Stuttgart he went to Roma and that is when he really started to develop himself into a great centre back. So great in fact that Chelsea became interested in him. In 2017 he joined the London club for a reported fee of 35 million euro, making him one of the most expensive German defenders of all time. His father is German, hence his very German last name, but his mother is actually from Sierra Leone. Rudy also plays for the national team of Germany, die Mannschaft, he has already made his presence for the team on a lot of occasions and he has even scored for Germany!
