At the moment he is playing for Liverpool in the Premier League and he is doing an absolute fine job at the Scousers. He is very popular with the fans and he has already earned their respect as he is trying to help LFC win a title. Ally was the most expensive goalkeeper in the world for a brief moment. Liverpool paid an astonishing 65 Million Pound fee to AS Roma to contract the goalie. Not much later Chelsea bought Kepa so he couldn't call himself the most expensive keeper for very long. A good goalkeeper was very much needed in Liverpool after they had lost the UEFA Champions League final to Real Madrid in many ways because of multiple goalkeeper-blunders by Lorius Karius. Ally has proved to be a very big step up compared to Karius. He had played a very good season for AS Roma, that reached all the way into the semi-finals of that very same tournament. In fact he was runner-up as the second best goalkeeper of the 2017-2018 Champions League season.
