Player Bio

Born in Copenhagen, Denmark, he started his youth career with the academy of native side Jerne IF, before moving to Esbjerg to complete his development. He moved to England in 2013, signing for EFL Championship club on a four-year contract. His excellent performances for the club’s under-18s and under-21s paved the way for an opportunity in the first-team, and on 26 April 2014, he was handed his first-team debut. The striker came on a substitute in Huddersfield’s 2-0 loss to Leicester City. On 3 November 2015, he made his first start for Huddersfield in a 2-2 draw against Reading; the midfielder scored his first goal for The Terriers, a 30-yard screamer, the following February in a 2-0 victory over Nottingham Forest. He was awarded 2016/17 Huddersfield Town Young Player of the Season, as the youngster made 24 appearances in the Championship, helping The Terriers achieve promotion to the Premier League via playoffs. Following Huddersfield Town’s relegation to the EFL Championship, Premier League club AFC Bournemouth signed the 23-year old centre-midfielder to a four-year contract in a deal worth £15 million on 29 July 2019. The Englishman departed Huddersfield with 6 goals and 2 assists in 91 appearances. The centre-midfielder made his Cherries debut on 10 August 2019 in a 1-1 draw against newly promoted side Sheffield United on the opening day of the Premier League season.
