Player Bio

The Pebble is a Major League Baseball second baseman for the Milwaukee Brewers in the United States. He was born in Hilo, Hawaii, on October 10, 1990. At Kamehameha Hawaii High School in Keaau, Hawaii, he was a two-sport star who excelled in baseball and football. This young man was a baseball standout during his senior year and was named a co-winner of the 2008 Hawaii Baseball Player of the Year award. It shouldn't be a surprise when we say that he was also a brilliant student. He was picked in the 16th round of the 2008 MLB draft by the Minnesota Twins but declined to sign and chose to attend the University of Hawaii, where he played collegiate baseball for the Hawaii Rainbow Warriors. The Cardinals picked this American in the first round of the 2011 Major League Baseball draft, with the 22nd overall pick. That season, he made his professional debut with the Class A Midwest League's Quad Cities River Bandits. Before making his MLB debut in August 16,2013, he spent time with the Springfield Cardinals of the Class AA Texas League and the Memphis Redbirds of the Class AAA Pacific Coast League. The Pebble was with the Cardinals until the end of 2020 before signing with the Brewers in 2021.
