Born in Abidjan, Abidjan, Cote d’Ivoire in February 2000, the forward moved to Italy when he was just 15-years of age to join Empoli FC’s youth academy. He made his first-team debut for Empoli two years later and made 10 appearances as the club gained promotion to Serie A. The following season he played in 32 Seria A games. In the summer of 2019 the young Ivorian transferred to Sassuolo on loan, with the club obligated to make the move permanent after two-years. During his first-two years with I Neroverdi the attacking midfielder featured 68 times and scored 10 goals. On September 2021, made his debut for Cote d’Ivoire in a 2-1 win over bitter rivals Cameroon in a FIFA World Cup qualifying match.
