Diogo Jota’s Girlfriend Rute Cardoso: the Portuguese winger started making waves after he moved to the Premier League in 2017. The former Wolves man is currently with Liverpool, but our focus is entirely on his partner.

Biography

She’s got quite the name, hasn’t she? Rute is the same as the biblical name Ruth. It’s the Portuguese variant, though. Yes, she’s from Portugal too. The young lady has to be from Porto because our winger met her in 2013. He was still a youth player back then.

Their story is heartwarming just because of its longevity. Not a lot of youngsters, these days, stick around for that long. It could be genuine love, or this woman can see the future. She’s a witch in secret who knew beforehand that he was going to become successful and chose to stick around. The possibility of that being true is very slim, which is why we’re going to stick with the former theory.

Rute’s been a keen supporter of him ever since she met him. She has also followed him around the world. You can’t go about doing something like that if you don’t love the sport. It gets us really excited to know that she loves football. This means that any and all babies that these two manage to produce will have the option of pursuing the sport professionally, irrespective of gender.

Speaking of babies, these love birds are expecting a child in February 2021. Yes, they’re having a lockdown baby, and their firstborn is going to be a boy.

The last time we checked, the Jota household was also expecting another delivery. Their dog Luna was pregnant and should have given birth to cute puppies by now.

It’s all very sweet, but we know that Rute had a cat named Linda (She does fancy names starting with L for some reason.), and we’re not sure what happened to her now. Also, how does a cat lady like herself go from cats to dogs? We’re going to ask her if and when we meet her. This is a conversation that needs to be had in person.

Is marriage on the way?

Now that these two have been together for a while, it is high time that they tied the knot. Our man needs to get on his knee once again and get her to marry him. We don’t think that he’s going to find anyone better than Rute for himself. She’s beautiful, cares about him a lot, and we think that she is going to be a great mum.

We don’t know what’s stopping him from marrying her already? The only reason we can think of is this scary-looking bloke in this picture. He could be an in-law of some kind. Other than that, he has no reason to delay the proceedings further.
