Perrie Edwards Biography
Perrie Louise Edwards was born on 10 July 1993 in the Whiteleas area of South Shields, and that’s exactly where she grew up as well! Her parents are Alexander and Deborah. She has an older brother and a younger half-sister from her father’s side named Jonnie and Caitlin Edwards respectively.

Her Studies and Career
Perrie went to the Radipole Primary School in Weymouth before leaving for South Shields. There she attended St. Peter and Paul RC Primary School. Later she studied at the Mortimer Community College and then switched to Newcastle College, where she got a BTEC in Executing Arts.
Perrie stepped into the design industry in 2019. She launched her own shoe design for the Italian brand Superga. One year later, in 2020, she became the first ambassador for the brand “Supreme Nutrition.”
And this is not all yet – she is a professional musician as well! She is known as the the lead singer of Little Mix, a group which is at the top of the charts for years now. The group became very famous in the UK because they participated in X-Factor’s season 8.

The beginning of her relationship with Alex
Before she met Alex Oxlade Chamberlain, she was engaged to nobody else than the world famous One Direction Member Zayn Malik. The couple broke up in 2015 (and not much later Zayn felt in the arms of supermodel Gigi Hadid).
Perrie met Alex in November 2016 and not much later the pair confirmed their relationship, at the beginning of 2017. She was spotted in the stadium supporting her boyfriend while Oxlade was spotted in the crowd of Little Mix’s performance at the X-Factor final. The couple announced their relationship publicly by uploading a picture on Instagram in which they are kissing each other in front of the Eiffel Tower. Aw. How romantic!

Her musical career
Perrie kind of began her musical career already at primary school, where she was singing and performing often. However, the idea of being a great singer never came in her mind. In 2011 she did audition on the famous television show ‘The X Factor’. She performed with the song Alanis Morissette – You Oughta Know.
She was rejected in that audition but that didn’t stop her. Jesy Nelson also did audition in the same episode and was rejacted as well. Not much later these two girls created the group “Faux Pas”. Along with them, Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Jade Thirlwall were a part of a group called “Orion” who came together with Perrie and Jesy and created the group named “Rhythmix”.
Nevertheless, they had to change their group’s name later because a children’s music charity had the similar name. Thus, they transformed their name to “Little Mix” and got the limelight. They became one of the best girl groups the world ever saw, participated again at The X Factor and… won the title!
When they first won the title, they released their first music album named “DNA” in 2012. The music album got the third position under UK Albums Charts and one of the top five positions in the USA. Such an achievement it was!
The Little Mix band then went on and released their second album named “Salute”. After that they released “Get Weird” in 2015. And in 2016, they released their fourth album, which was named as “Glory Days”. By releasing this series, they were declared as the winners of the series that made them the first-ever group to succeed in the show. They got two number one singles that were:

While their debut album named ‘DNA’ was at number 3 in the charts of the UK.
